2 January 1883 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 2nd January [1883]. Read, worked &c. Went out with Henry after lunch. Called on Css Canevaro & then went on with Henry to walk on the Piazza a little while but came home early. At T time Idita Hurtado came to practise piano & harmonium duetts. Olga also came & stayed a little while talking. Mme Hurtado came to fetch away Idita & came up & stayed a little while. Dined at 7.30. After dinner I went to the Canevaros for 2 hours. Met there Ct Luigi Michiel, Mayor Sarti, Brandolins, Ct Schio. | |
