25 January 1883 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 25th January [1883]. Painted fan. After lunch went out in gondola to the Stabto left Henry there & went to leave some cards & then fetched Henry & we went to call on old Rawdon Brown & bid him good bye. He seemed well in health but his mind weaker than ever– Mr Malcolm dined with us. At 9.30 Henry & I went to the Canevaros. Henry played écarté with Ninina. Home early. | |
