26 January 1883 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 26th [January 1883]. Painted fan—& returned Guggenheim his Longhi copies. After lunch we went to him to bid him good bye & then to the Piazzetta to Ongania to buy an Italian book for the journey—home. Visits from Css Valmarana, Pss Windischgrätz & Ct Adini W—Countess Albrizzi, Mme Cozzi & Mme & Idita Hurtado & Css Mocenigo St Stae & her 2 girls– After dinner we went to Andriana Marcellos where were all the intimate friends– Andriana herself is better but not well. We left early– | |
