6 February 1883 — 3 Savile Row | |
Tuesday. 6th February [1883]. Unpacked & arranged. Mr Clark called at 10.30 & sat a long time talking. Then Mrs Millie Hanson came & sat a while talking. At 1 Henry & I went off in carriage to Blanche’s & lunched there. I took the children the kitten I had brought from Paris. After lunch Henry & I walked to Langham Hse to see Mama. Blanche called for me & took me out driving. We shopped & went to our respective homes at 5. Lady Gregory came to see me– Later Sir Wm came. We dined at the Thomson Hankeys’ & met Ld & Ly A. Russell, Sir Thomas & Ly May, Capt. Douglas Galton & his daughter, & Mr Dutton who took me to dinner & I sat next to old Mr Thomson Hankey. Home early. | |
