20 March 1883 — Inwood, Henstridge, Somerset
Tuesday. 20th March [1883]. I set to work on my fan in the drawing room; as Theo did not accompany Merthyr hunting she came & sat with me & we had much talk on family &c. Glad to find her better disposed towards Cornelia. She proposed to me to write & tell her & Ivor to come over here on Saty which I did. Henry & I took our constitutional in the garden & the wind very cold. Dr Wiblin arrived to stay here. After dinner I played the piano.
