21 March 1883 — Inwood, Henstridge, Somerset | |
Wednesday. 21st [March 1883]. Read—painted & practised piano in the morning. After lunch Henry & I walked for an hour in the garden but the E. wind was piercing. There was a little dinner party Mr & Miss Denly & young Denly—2 brothers Westmacott & General Astell, also Lord Bertie who arrived to day to spend a few days. The Westmacotts & Astell also slept here. | |
