24 March 1883 — Inwood, Henstridge, Somerset
Saturday. 24th [March 1883]. Easter Eve. Ivor & Cornelia came over by train from Canford to lunch. We had not seen Ivor since last year. They went over the house and stables—but had to go very soon after lunch as the train went abt 3.30. Cornelia said something about Henry & I paying them a visit at Canford later– When they were gone we all walked in the garden & then Maria & I wandered on & on looking for violets & did not get home till nearly 6 with a small bouquet of violets as the cold spring has kept them so. Dr Wiblin returned.
