7 April 1883 — 3 Savile Row | |
Saturday. 7th April [1883]. In the morning I walked up to Queen Anne St and made Blanche go out shopping with me & to come to lunch. Directly after Henry & I drove to take leave of the Gregorys who are off tomorrow to take a trip in Portugal. Then on we went to Roehampton to stay till Monday. A few friends had been invited for tennis. I played a few games– Mr Wylde dined there & sat by me at dinner. Ld Bartle Frere took me in there were also Lady & Miss Frere, Mr Hallam Murray, Miss Rose. | |
