8 April 1883 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Sunday. 8th April [1883]. Not feeling very well—did not go to church but sat & talked with Maria. Mildred called in the afternoon & I took her to walk in the garden & she was very talkative. Mr Morgan & his son in law Burns came to tea. The former has just returned from passing the winter at Rome. | |
