28 June 1883 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Thursday. 28th June [1883]. Idita came & sat to me. Capt. Winsloe & Dr Bell came to call & bid us goodbye as they leave this afternoon. Henry took Miss Canning out after breakfast. I had Mme Hurtado for an hour to practise hymns & then having a headache I had to retire to my room & rest. In the evening I was better & we went to the Edens & fd Mme Lambing there & she sang.
