30 June 1883 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 30th June [1883]. Directly after breakfast Miss Canning & I went off to Vianelli’s to be photod. Mrs Eden joined us there & we were all 3 done & only got home to lunch. In the afternoon Henry took Miss Canning to Murano. I remained at home till 4 when the Edens called for me & we went leaving cards for a couple of hours. After dinner we took Miss Canning to the Giardinetto & had ices there. It was cool & there was pleasant music there. | |
