3 July 1883 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Tuesday. 3rd July [1883]. Miss Bronson came & she & I had our last guitar lesson of Negri. After lunch Henry & I went out—but I had first a farewell visit fm Mme Valmarana. We went to the Stabto & then on to see old Rawdon Brown. We found him very much down with the heat. I went on to Mrs Bronson to take leave of her & home just at 7. Malcolm dined with us. Directly after dinner I went to see Olga Mocenigo who is ill in bed & then Henry & the Brandolins called for me & took us for a row. H & I came home early rather tired.
