22 January 1884 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 22nd [January 1884]. Cortelazzo remained till lunch & so I modelled & talked to him all the morning & finished the 4th figure wh he is going to have in silver on the centre piece he is making for us. After lunch went out with Henry & we took a walk in Piazza over the Riva in the sun. I then went & sat some time with Carry Eden & only got home at 5. Lady Bellingham Graham & Mlle de Pheil came to call & have a chat. We dined alone & played cribbage & écarté. Malgarotto came again today to model in wax. | |
