1 March 1884 — 3 Savile Row | |
Saturday. 1st March [1884]. Alice & I went out in the morng & walked up to see Blanche & did some shopping. Maria came to lunch with us also Blanche & her 2 little girls Onie & Iréne. Henry took Alice to the Saty Pop concert. Maria & I went out driving. We went to Gray’s Inn to try & see Richard & to talk to him abt buying a house & to ask him to see 20 Grafton St but he was out. We left various cards & returned to Savile Row for tea. Henry & I dined at Ld & Lady Arthur Russells. We met Visct de Gary, Mlle de Peyronnet, Kinglake, Mr & Mrs Henry Reeve—quite a small party. | |
