17 April 1884 — Inwood, Henstridge, Somerset
Thursday. 17th April [1884]. I spent all the morning working at my wax head of Henry. It was a very cold blustering day. Henry & I walked in the wood where it was sheltered. We dined at 7 & afterwards Theo & I drove to the village school to hear a rustic concert. Merthyr walked there. We heard glees & comic songs & “Largo al factotum” very well sung by Mr Parker the Sherborne music master. We came home all 3 in the brougham abt 10.
