27 May 1884 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 27th May [1884]. Henry took the Murray party out sightseeing. I did not go out but was busy with sewing machine, reading &c. After lunch they all went to Murano to see the glass blowing. I had a visit from Mme Minaut wife of the French consul. After dinner we all went out in gondola to get the air and hear the singing. The Murrays settled to go to Padua tomorrow. | |
