Wednesday. 16th [July 1884]. Breakfast in my room. Down at 12 to lunch. Worked &c At 4 went & sat outside & wrote. Henry & Alice took a walk. Watched rafts coming down. Scirocco wind. 80½° in doors. Henry & I played cribbage in the evening. We hear at Venice it is 90°. | |
