16 August 1884 — Baveno | |
Saturday. 16th August [1884]. Got up 7.30. Breakfast at 8. Read & worked. Lunched at table d’hôte at 12.30. Abt 4 when it got cool went for a walk up behind the hotel up the hill & found some wild flowers to paint. Back at 6. Table d’hôte at 6.30 and afterwards sat in garden talking to Colnaghis till bed time. | |
