7 September 1884 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 7th September [1884]. I painted all the morning. After lunch Henry & I went out in gondola to the Edens’ garden, took tea with them & walked about till 6 & then went home. Mr Malcolm dined with us. It was too cold to go out in the eveng so I played the harmonium in eveng. | |
