Wednesday. 24th [September 1884]. Lesson of Desideri. Wet day & no going out walking with Carry as we had settled to do. Mr Colnaghi left us after tea & went with Sr dall’Aglio who came to fetch him, to the station to meet his family who were coming from Milan & they went to Hot: Britannia. Carry Eden came to see me & stayed a long time chatting. | |
