25 September 1884 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 25th September [1884]. Lesson of Desideri. Directly after lunch went out with Henry entirely forgetting I had promised to walk with Carry. We went to 2 or 3 places & then I paid Css Valmarana a little visit to ask her to come to tea tomorrow evening & then we went on to the Edens’ garden to beg some flowers. M. & Me Giovanni Castellani & Mme Henriette Castellani dined with us. I played the harmonium in the evening. | |
