26 October 1884 — Castagnolo | |
Sunday. 26th [October 1884]. We all sat talking all the morning. After lunch Henry & I went for a walk to a little villa not far off which had once been a Medecian hunting box and was on the utmost limit of the Poggia Caiano property. After tea I read aloud to Henry. Sigrs Carlo & Poldo Orsi dined at Castagnolo & sang to the guitar in the eveng. Mr Marzials & I sang a duet of his & Mrs Ross sang. | |
