30 November 1884 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Sunday. 30th November [1884]. Was down by 9 & began to sketch one of her pictures in the drawing room by Bernardino Licinio. Breakfast at 10. Went to church at 11. Heard good sermon from the new Vicar Mr Williams who has just come from Longleat. It was very cold & there was ice on the fountains till about 1 when a sudden thaw came on. After lunch I sat with Mama. Tea at 5. Wrote letters. At 6 went to church with Ivor & Mama & it was raining & very mild. Dined at 8. | |
