3 December 1884 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Wednesday. 3rd December [1884]. Mr Clark & Mr Martin left early. I painted all the morning & finished my copy while Mama read aloud. Cornelia went to Bournemouth to spend the day with her children. It poured all day & as we cd not go out Henry & I went to walk up & down the gallery. I & Mama played duetts. Cornelia returned by tea time. I sat with her in her boudoir after tea till she & Ivor went to church. They played whist in the evening & I worked. | |
