9 December 1884 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Tuesday. 9th [December 1884]. I had a violent headache all day & cd do nothing. Young Juanito Riaño called. He is at work for a time at the British Museum helping his grandfather to copy MSS. At 5 I was so ill & sick I had to retire upstairs & did not see the Gregorys when they called. Blanche & Edward dined here & in the eveng Blanche came up & sat with me whilst our husbands played billiards. | |
