Friday. 27th February [1885]. Went to see Blanche. Alice & Maria came up. Maria came to me after lunch & said she was going to stop the night & go to Nelly Gordon’s wedding tomorrow. Maria & I went shopping in the afternoon to look for stuff for her chairs for her new house. Aunt Mary Huntly, Felicia, Bee, Connie & Lady Louise Ponsonby came to tea. Henry & I dined with Sir Wm & Miss Drake quite alone & came home early. Maria dined at No 15. | |
