26 April 1885 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Sunday. 26th April [1885]. Going to church I met Blanche & Onie & so they went to Haweis’ church with me. After lunch I drove out with Henry to call on Lady Eastlake. We found her comparatively well tho’ in her wheel chair—very bright & entertaining. Mr Cavendish Boyle was with her. We went on to see Mrs Drummond & Mr Kay & found them at home—& then on to Onslow Gardens to see Connie who had been unwell. We found Lady Stewart & 2 or 3 other people with her & after tea we came home again. We went to dine with Maria at Pk Crescent & met my brother Arthur there. Walked home at 11. | |
