31 August 1885 — Villeneuve | |
Monday. 31st [August 1885]. Wrote letters all morning. Lunch at table d’hôte. Went for a walk with Henry & took Annie to see the Castle which we went over & then we walked on as far as the Hotel Bonnivard where Henry & I had stayed the first time we came to Italy together in 69. I made a little sketch of the Castle before dusk. Dined at table d’hôte. | |
