9 September 1885 — Baveno | |
Wednesday. 9th September [1885]. We went to the Princesses room at ¼ 8 to take leave of her & then left by the 8 o’cl steamer for Arona. Morelli accompanied us & we parted with him at Milan. We had 1½ hour to wait there and had luncheon & then went on to Venice where we arrived at 8 o’cl & were glad to get home, have some food & get to bed. | |
