1 November 1885 — Florence | |
Sunday. 1st November [1885]. We were all tired & did not get up very early. I sat & read by the fire most of the day. Henry went to see Lord Hammond in the same hotel. Mr Colnaghi came to see us while we were at lunch. Sir Wm kept his room & Lady G dined downstairs with us. Miss Monk called on us. | |
