22 November 1885 — Rome | |
Sunday. 22nd [November 1885]. Breakfast at 8 & Sir John took us in his carriage to the station to see us off by 9.15 train. The Warrington Woods also came to see us off. We got to Pisa abt 5.30. Went to Hotel Victoria. Dined at table d’hôte. Played cribbage & went to bed early. | |
