Friday. 11th December [1885]. Wrote letters, read &c. At 11 Maria came & asked me to go with her to a shop. We went & then I returned to lunch at 2. I drove out at 3, dropped Henry at his club & then went on to do various errands & then to see Mama & sat with her for half an hour returning home to 5 o’cl tea. Blanche came & dined with us– | |
