20 December 1885 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Sunday. 20th [December 1885]. I went to church at Westmoreland St. Heard a good sermon by Mr Haweis’ curate– Went to see Mama after church & met there Blanche & Maria. Count Hatzfeldt the German Ambr lunched with us & we were delighted to see our old colleague once more. Maria came abt 3.30 & stayed talking till 5. Mr Alex Ross called– Henry went out to pay visits. I remained at home. We dined alone. | |
