23 December 1885 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Wednesday. 23rd December [1885]. Walked out in morning. Went to see Susan Hambro & then Mama & shopped & returned home to lunch. Mrs Eden came to lunch. I drove out at 3 & went to Haynes to see abt choosing curtains for our back drawing room. Shopped—returned home to tea. Connie came to tea– Abt 6 I went to see Blanche & found her baby ill with bronchitis & stayed with her till dinner. She & Edward came in to us after dinner & Edward & Henry played billiards. | |
