24 December 1885 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Thursday. 24th [December 1885]. Woke with a headache & was not able to do any work. At 12 I went to Blanche & we took a walk hoping the air would do me good. There was a horrid fog & I got worse & had to go up to my room & lie down & passed a miserable afternoon. Was able to dress & go to dine with Blanche– Met Mr Austin Leigh & Mr Conway Seymour. Mrs & Mr Sydney Glyn who were expected did not turn up. I was not able to eat but got better by the end of the evening. | |
