25 December 1885 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Friday. 25th [December 1885]. Christmas Day. I went to church at St James Westmoreland St. Foggy and dark day. After church B & Edward fetched me & we went to visit our coachmen & their wives & gave little presents. Then we went to Langham House to see Mama—& then returned to No 15 & I paid B & children a visit & then home to lunch & did not go out again. Henry went to see Mr Murray & then returned home & we sat by the fire. Mme de Hurtado came later to see us. We dined with Maria & fetched Mama & took her up with us to Pk Crescent. Only family of Du Canes. Played round game of cards with the children in eveng. | |
