27 December 1885 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Sunday. 27th December [1885]. I went to church in the morning by myself. After lunch Henry & I went to No 15 for ½ hour to meet Alice & Hallam who lunched there & who start tomorrow for the Riviera. Then at 3.30 we had the carriage & drove to St John’s Wood to see Henry’s brother Fred. He was out & Ida was not well so we only saw Florence the eldest girl. The carriage set us down at Maria’s house. She was out so we walked home. Mr Ball came to tea & Blanche also. We dined alone. Alice & H. came in on their way to their hotel from dining at Pk Crescent for a few minutes. | |
