Wednesday. 27th [January 1886]. When I came down to breakfast Henry told me that the Conservative Govt was out to every ones dismay. In the afternoon Blanche drove with me in the open carriage & she came back to tea with me & Connie also came. Mme d’Antas called & stayed a long time talking. Henry & I dined alone & played billiards in the eveng. | |
