Friday. 14th May [1886]. Woke with a headache so I remained in bed till lunch. Felicia & Elizabeth Bertie came to see me up in my room– Lady Bagot & Mrs Bronson came to see me. Blanche & I drove together & shopped. We dined with Blanche at No 15 & met Lord Bessborough, Mr & Mrs Buxton, the Leckys, Mary Ponsonby—Mrs Ford—Sir Clares stepmother, & Mr Houston, secy of the Patriotic Union. | |
