20 June 1886 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord
Sunday. 20th June [1886]. Cold day & cotton wool clouds resting on the mountains, a fine rain. Dined at 4.30. Henry went out fishing at 8 & reports having seen a salmon jump this morning in Gredhus pool. Edgar & Fred went sea fishing but got nothing. I went with Thorwald in boat & fished for salmon from Syltebo’s Rest down to Noste. Changed my fly for Trout fly & got 2 trout one of 2 lbs.—& the other 1 lb. & home to supper & bed.
