22 June 1886 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord
Tuesday. 22nd [June 1886]. Wet off & on & very cold. Henry went down to fish in morning & caught a salmon 18 lbs. off the bridge. I fished on the bank a bit & then went with the Marquis after trout to the river mouth. Got one only. Came in & had a biscuit at 2 & then lay down till dinner. It poured all the evening. I went fishing with Thorwald– Hooked a salmon in Gredhus & lost him, saw nothing else– Henry got 2 trout & touched 2 salmon.
