7 August 1886 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Saturday. 7th [August 1886]. Cloudy morning. At 9 o’cl breakfast Luigi ran in to beg we would lend a river boat to search for the bodies of 2 men drowned last night at Bjornes while netting being 2 of those Henry saw as he came down & to whom John had spoken asking them abt the fishing. It appears there were 3 in the boat & only one managed to get ashore. | |
