19 August 1886 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord
Thursday. 19th [August 1886]. I finished Henry’s Bull trout & then Monty & I spent the rest of the morning arranging the effigies of the fish round the dining room walls. At 2 I went to fish Lr Gredhus but got nothing & came in to dinner at 4. Afterwards I walked up to Friswold & fished with a minnow. At Friswold I got a 1 lb. brown trout. In Kiespool I got a grilse of 4 lbs. wh was foul hooked in his side. Also a 3½ lb. trout. I found them at supper when I got in & Mr Randers with them. He had also dined with us.
