3 October 1886 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 3rd October [1886]. Rietti brought the panelling & we tried it in different places & finally decided on making cupboards for the small room at end of long hall. I painted at home. After lunch Henry took Mrs Burr & Isabel to the Armenian Convent & Lido & I stayed at home & rested, writing & reading. After dinner Henry took out Isabel & I remained in with Mrs Burr & played the organ to her. | |
