5 October 1886 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 5th October [1886]. I & Katie Colnaghi went to the Gallery & met Mrs Burr & Isabel. The girls looked at the pictures while we worked. Mr Colnaghi joined them & took Katie home. After lunch I worked the machine & then we all went to Mrs Eden’s garden to get some flowers for the dinner table. Mr Brown, Mrs Burr, Isabel, Mr Cartwright (secy at Berlin) dined with us. | |
