19 November 1886 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 19th November [1886]. It was very foggy all day. Wrote letters all the morning. Had our guitar lesson in afternoon. Mr Malcolm came to 5 o’cl tea. Henry & Mrs Ross went out walking & Henry came home with rheumatism in his chest & was very unwell all eveng; we played patience & went early to bed. | |
