10 January 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 10th [January 1887]. Had a guitar lesson with Edith Bronson & Mme Mimaut joined us. Edith stayed to lunch & then we went in gondola together & I finally left her at St Stae & then fetched Henry at the Stabto & took Emily to the Piazza to look for spectacles. Ct Canevaro came to tea. Mr Malcolm dined with us & Henry & I went to the Valmaranas in the evening. He played whist & we came home after 12. | |
