11 January 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 11th January [1887]. I had a lace lesson in morning. Mr P. Russell lunched with us. Went out in afternoon & went to the Edens to settle with them about our giving a ball here on 19th. Carry promised to come to me later so I went home & found Emily at T with Henry. Carry came abt 5.30 & we then & there wrote nearly all the invitations. After dinner I wrote the addresses– Patience. | |
