13 January 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 13th January [1887]. Guggenheim came in the morning to have another look at the things I am going to lend to the Exhibition at Rome. I had a last lace lesson. Mrs Eden came here at 2 to arrange about my dress for 19th & then we went out together to buy things for the cotillion &c. We finally went to Css Valmarana to ask her to invite some dancing men on 19th. Met Emily there & left her at Mrs Edens with Carry & then came home. Ersilia came to tea. | |
