Friday. 14th [January 1887]. Mr Malcolm came over to settle about the doing up of our house outside & then I consulted him about the supper tables for 19th at which he sent over for some tables & remained most of the morning trying & fitting them. I had a guitar lesson with Edith & we were joined by Mme Mimaut. I took Edith out & we went to see Mme Hurtado together & then I left her at her home. I copied for Henry & finished his paper on Revocation of the Edict of Nantes. Patience. | |
